The original house was built circa 1902 on Center Avenue in Lake Bluff. During the summer of 2001 the house was doubled in size. The design goal was to make the addition seamless to the original building, yet bring all of the modern conveniences to the house, The front porch was extended around the corner of the house to connect into the new family room and to enhance the manner in which the house engaged the corner of Center and Evanston.
